It’s important to note that coatings can be absorbed into the skin directly, or indirectly through the microfibre towels one uses during the buffing stages. It’s a good rule to use gloves throughout your entire detailing process as this will also minimise the introduction of unwanted oils and dirt from hands to the paint surface.
